Welcome to our Circles Drive

Every free-flowing circle can ask to be added to this extranet.

Directory Structure​

  • Circles have a name in .dot notation
    • e.g. all.a_department
  • format:
    • name_company
      • name_sub_org
      • subfolder_relevant_in_that_org

On gdrive '.' becomes '__' in the name

_archive & _beta sub-folders​

On each circle drive you have such a folder

Intro doc​

  • each circle dir e.g. OWCircles/Incubaid/incubaid_legal_finance

Access Rights​

  • all@incubaid.com : readonly = group which is everyone we know of related to TF & FF
  • We work with groups to give access to circles when security would be required

Remarks

  • ps incubaid.com is our overarching group on google (incubaid is our incubator who owns the drive)

Hygiene​

It's very important that all information in the folders underneath this extranet are

  • Relevant
    • Only move information in here which is relevant to the chosen folder (project)
    • If information can be stored at git level (github or docs.grid.tf) then it should be there !!!
  • Up to date
    • Information which is no longer active should be moved to _archive subfolder of the circle folder
    • Information which is not useful yet should be in _beta subfolder
    • If you find a doc which is no longer relevant, contact author if needed or move to _archive
  • Organized
    • Each circle needs to have a folder
  • Owned
    • Owners need to make sure that the information is relevant, up to date & organized

Role of Owner​

Each circle folder in this extranet has 1 owner.
