Our Mycelium network technology tries to resolve some of the critical flaws in today's Internet network infrastructure:

Problems with the Current Internet

Unable to find shortest path

The current Internet lacks the intelligence to consistently choose the shortest path for data transmission. Internet routing protocols like BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) prioritize business agreements and policies over efficiency, often resulting in data taking unnecessarily long routes, increasing latency and reducing performance.

Lack of Built-in Security

The Internet was designed without inherent security mechanisms. Security was added as an afterthought, leading to a patchwork of solutions that don't provide comprehensive protection. This fundamental design flaw makes the Internet vulnerable to numerous attack vectors including man-in-the-middle attacks, spoofing, and data interception.

Centralized Name Services

DNS (Domain Name System) is highly centralized, creating single points of failure and control. This centralization makes it vulnerable to censorship, outages, and attacks. When major DNS providers experience issues, large portions of the Internet can become inaccessible.
