The User Experience (What You See)​

You don't need to understand SPORE or AUR. Here's what actually happens from your perspective:

Step 1: You Arrive​

You come with:
  • Credit card (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
  • Crypto wallet (USDC, ETH, BTC, etc.)
  • Bank transfer

You choose your preferred currency in settings.

Step 2: Your Wallet​

You see one wallet in your own currency:

Step 4: You Buy & Pay​

You rent compute:
  Price: €1.15 / month

You see in your wallet:
  Balance: €1,198.85
  ├─ Spent: €1.15

That's all you see.

Behind the Scenes (What You Don't See)​

The system handles all the complexity automatically:

🔄 What Happens Invisibly:

1. Your €1.15 is converted to AUR
   €1.15 → 8.98 AUR (at gold-peg rate)

2. AUR is converted to SPORE internally
   8.98 AUR → 8.98 SPORE (or variable rate)

3. SPORE is distributed:
   • 80% → Hoster (7.18 SPORE)
   • 10% → Burned (0.90 SPORE)
   • 10% → Protocol (0.90 SPORE)

4. Hoster receives their payment
   7.18 SPORE = €0.92 in their wallet

5. Your balance updates
   You see: €1.15 deducted ✓

Result: You spent €1.15 in euros. Hoster earned €0.92 in their chosen currency. Everything balanced. No friction.

FAQ: The Simplest Questions​

Do I need to buy SPORE?

No. The system handles all SPORE automatically. You never see it or touch it.

Do I need to buy AUR?

No. AUR is internal accounting. When you add money to your account, it's automatically converted to AUR in the background. You see only your chosen currency.

What if I want to understand the token economics?

Great! Read our detailed guides on SPORE and AUR. But you don't need to in order to use the system.

The average user just sees their money and spends it. Like using any normal service.

What currencies do you support?

Any major fiat currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.) and common cryptos (USDC, ETH, BTC, etc.).

You choose one as your display currency in settings. All wallet balances and marketplace prices show in that currency.

Is there a hidden fee in the conversion?

No. The conversion happens at real market rates (no markup). The only "fee" is the 80/10/10 split, which you see transparently:

  • You pay €1.15
  • Hoster gets €0.92 (80%)
  • That's it
